So I haven't posted since November. Maybe you keep checking back to see if I have. Well one website for me is just to much so I've decided to write for Buntnow.com. Go check it out. MLB News as of 11/24/14
Their has been some big news over the last few days so here it is:
-Red Sox land Free Agents Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval! It is undetermined where Hanley will fit with Bogaerts at SS. Sandoval at 3B,and an already crowded outfield. Ramirez's contract is a 5-year $90 million while The Panda's is a 5-year $100 million one. -The A's traded foe 1B Ike Davis from Pittsburg. In exchange the Pirates will get the international signing bonus No. 27. Davis hit just .233 with 11 HRs in '14. -Mariners have signed 3B Kyle Seager to a 7-year extension worth $100 million. This season Seager won a Gold Glove this season and hit .268 with 25 HRs and 96 RBIs. He was also selected to his first All-Star Game. MLB News as of 11/21/14
Dodgers, Rays agree to 4 player swap. The Rays will receive RHP Jose Dominguez ang Greg Harris while the Dodgers beef up their bullpen with Joel Peralta and minor league Adam Liberatore . Peralta went 3-4 with a 4.41 ERA in 63.1 innings but did get 74 stikeouts. Marlins, Giancarlo Stanton make history with an astonishing contract extension worth $325 million over 13 years. The most any athlete has ever been paid. Braves and Padres are front-runners in Cuban star Tomas race. He's just 24 and carries a ton of power! The Phillies dropped out after seeing the contract he wanted. With Heyward gone he could help out the Braves in the outfield. And the Padres just need help. Cardinals trade 24-year old RHP Shelby Miller and minor league pitcher Tyrell Jenkins to the Braves getting 25-year old RF Jason Jeyward and RHP Jordan Walden. Miller is under team control for 4 more years while Heyward is scheduled to be a free agent at the end of the 2015 season. Heyward is expected to fill in the hole in which Oscar left after the tragedy.
Blue Jays sign Martin for 5 years. The deal is supposedly worth $82 million. Last season Dioner Navarro was their catcher in which he hit .274 with 12 homeruns and 69 RBIs. MLB All-Stars drop to Japan The Japan season ended in which the MLB All-Stars lost 3-2. Altuve lead the MLBteam in average hitting .429. MLB news as of 11/14/14

Hellickson Heads to Arizona The Tampa Bay Rays have traded pitcher Jeremy Hellickson to the Diamondbacks. Hellickson was hurt most of the '14 season. He went 1-5 with a 4.52 ERA. The Rays still will have a strong rotation with Moore returning from an injury. The D-Backs are in need of pitching. Hellickson is a former ROY and Gold Glover. New York Mets made the first Free Agent splash by signing veteran 1B/RF Michael Cuddyer. The deal is worth $21 over the next 2 years. Cuddyer, 35, was the NL Batting Champion in '13 despite only seeing 489 at-bats. The former Rockie only saw 190 PA in '14. Awards Announced The yearly awards were announced who went home with what? NL ROY: Jacob DeGrom AL ROY: Jose Abreu NL Cy Young: Clayton Kershaw AL Cy Young: Corey Kluber NL MVP: Clayton Kershaw AL MVP: Mike Trout Kershaw became the first pitcher since Bob Gibson to win both the Cy Young and MVP! Pirates Sign AJ Burnett AJ Burnett will see a reunion with former team Pittsburg. Last season with the Phillies he struggled going 8-18 with a 4.59 ERA and 190 Ks through 213.2 innings. The deal is just a 1 year deal worth $8.5 million. Brewers picked up 3B Aramis Ramirez for another year. Ramirez hit .285 last year with 15 homeruns and 66 RBIs making the NL All-Star Team. |

Oscar Taveras dies in Car Accident
If you haven't already heard Cardinals rookie and top prospect died in a car accident Sunday afternoon back home in the Dominican Republic. Much mourning is still going out from baseball fans everywhere. It is reportedly a one car accident in which he veered off the road. His girlfriend was also with him and is also dead.
Teammate Carlos Martinez tweeted:
"Today is one of the saddest days of my life, I lost a brother, friend, and teammate! I can't believe he's gone, I loved him dearly! RIP OT18"
Many other tweets were sent out involving his death
Pat Neshek retweeted a tweet from Cardinals minor leaguer Xavier Scruggs who was a September callup.
"Oscar was family. God blessed me with the opportunity to play with a truly special teammate and friend. Speechless. #ripOscar #GodsPlan

Choo out rest of Season
After the already struggling Rangers lost Fielder and Moreland for the season star outfielder Shin-Soo Choo joins that list. In his first year in Texas he hit just .242 with 13 homeruns and 40 RBIs. They called up Michael Choice to replace him as he'll be undergoing elbow surgery. He signed a 7 year deal worth $130 million in the offseason so the Rangers will be hoping for more out of him.
